My love for photography started young — I still remember the joy of picking up my dad’s old Nikon SLR at age 11, completely mesmerised by the way a single photo could freeze time.
Coming from a close-knit family, some of my fondest memories were spent gathered around my grandmother’s living room, flipping through photo albums after Christmas lunch or a big backyard BBQ. We’d laugh, point out our funny faces, and help her choose which moments made it onto her ever-growing gallery wall.
Those photos weren’t perfect — they were real. Sand between our toes, messy smiles, baby steps, sun-soaked hugs… each frame told a story.
I believe the most meaningful photos are the ones that reflect life exactly as it is — not staged or polished, but full of warmth, emotion, and connection. My passion lies in capturing the essence of your family right now — in this season, however chaotic, beautiful, or fleeting it may feel.
Whether it’s the way your toddler scrunches their nose when they laugh, the newborn rolls you already know will disappear too fast, or the soft quiet of your baby snuggling in your arms after a sleepless night — these are the moments that matter. And these are the ones I want to freeze in time for you. Now, as a new mum to a happy, cuddly 6-month-old, I see this all in a deeper way. I get it — the long nights, the nap battles, the mess of introducing solids, the wild ride of parenting. Some days I wish I could fast-forward, and others I wish I could hit pause forever. I find myself scrolling back through photos constantly, reliving those newborn days and soaking in every detail I never want to forget. This is my why — and I’d be honoured to help you hold on to yours. 💛
